
Independence’s historic first season of volleyball was extended on Saturday after the Blue Devils defeated Chardon in the Division II, Region 7 championship match, 3-1.
With the win, Independence advanced to the state Final Four to be played at Wittenberg University on Saturday and Sunday.

Today we had our graduating seniors the class of 2023 say goodbye to students and staff at IPS! They even had the opportunity to play their favorite PE activity… the parachute! #ipride

There will be food, music, and activities, all to help raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention. In today's Lunch and Learn session held at IMS, Jeffrey Woytach, a NASA engineer, took center stage to share his experiences working at NASA. His presentation also sparked a galaxy of possibilities, inspiring students to reach for the stars in their own future engineering careers.






Last night we celebrated the music making! 💙🎶💛 Congratulations to all the members of the Music Department, all our soloists, small ensembles, student leadership, our new Tri-M Music Honorary members and Sydney, the recipient of this year’s National School Choral Award! Shout out to Tri-M for serving dinner, the Music Boosters for handling the food and all who helped set up and clean up!! What a night!!
