Notice: Temporary Change to Bus 7 Morning Pickup Time - Starting Wed. May 14th
Due to ongoing construction on Valley Woods and Pleasantwood, and the implementation of one-way traffic, Bus 7 will be arriving five minutes earlier than usual for morning pickups.
This change is expected to remain in effect for approximately 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the duration of the construction.

Due to staff shortages, we regret to inform you that bus schedules will be affected this afternoon. To ensure all routes are covered, we will need to consolidate services.
High school and middle school students who ride Bus 7 will be dismissed early at 2:20 p.m. and are expected to arrive home approximately 20 minutes earlier than usual.
Students on Bus 8 may experience delays of 10 to 15 minutes.
Primary school students who ride Bus 7 will likely arrive home about 5 minutes later than their normal schedule, and route 8 students 10 – 20 minutes later.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. Parents who prefer to pick up their children directly from school are welcome to do so. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work through these challenges.

Our IPS 4th graders were thrilled to see their artwork displayed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in downtown, Cleveland this morning! There mural is hanging in the bottom floor area for thousands of visitors to see!

Third graders at IPS visited with City of Independence leadership during their "Lunch & Learn" Career Speakers Series yesterday. Special thanks to the Fire Chief, Police Chief, Economic Development Director, City Engineer, Finance Director, Mayor's Office, and Community Services Department who were all represented. City officials rotated among lunch tables as students asked questions about their day-to-day responsibilities at work.
