Our morning at IPS started off with our 4th grade cosmetology immersion project presentations! Students act as owners and operators of a salon and spa. Students designed hair styles on a “manikin”, booked appointments, and gave other spa services! And after off we went to the preschool holiday party! Our preschool students did a great job performing for parents and family members! Thank you @CVCCWorks career specialist Amanda Jaronowski and the IPS preschool team for a wonderful morning!

In Design Technology, third graders are learning to work collaboratively on a coding and robotics project. Students will create a maze with multiple turns and possible ways to get Dash (their robot) to the finish line. The challenge is to be able to program Dash to navigate one’s own original maze. This experience provides students with the opportunity to watch their virtual coding turn into tangible learning experiences.
