Our middle school gym has two brand-new scoreboards! Thanks to the Independence Athletic Boosters and Wrestling Booster Club, the upgraded gym enhances visibility and improves the game-day experience for athletes, coaches, and fans.

IHS has new mission & vision banners and room ID signs! Banners reinforce our commitment to Creating a Legacy of Excellence, while new exterior signs improve safety, navigation, and emergency response.

IMS Going Gold today to show our support for childhood cancer awareness month. 💛

All K-5 teachers completed Bridges Math training this August! Through hands-on problem-solving, they strengthened instructional skills, built confidence, and laid the foundation for engaging, high-quality math learning experiences for every student.

The Independence Athletic Department is excited to offer our season passes and single game tickets through Hometown Ticketing for the 2025-2026 school year. Interested fans should use the link or the Hometown Ticketing Fan app to purchase tickets. High school students should enter their student ID as a passcode at the very bottom of the page to unlock their annual pass. Tickets may be purchased at the gate with cash. Notice: Temporary Change to Bus 7 Morning Pickup Time - Starting Wed. May 14th Due to ongoing construction on Valley Woods and Pleasantwood, and the implementation of one-way traffic, Bus 7 will be arriving five minutes earlier than usual for morning pickups.
