Eighth-grade Spanish students in Mrs. Corrigan's class were able to incorporate History with Spanish! In honor of MLK Day on Monday, students were given a few different versions of famous MLK quotes to translate and analyze. After learning online the who, what, when, why of each quote's significance and recognizing vocabulary previously learned, students will apply how MLK's legacy can be applied to the world today. Can't wait to read their responses on how they can be difference makers in 2024! #IPride

The Integrated Preschool Program at Independence Primary School currently has openings for the 2024-2025 school year. Information about our program and application can be found on the Independence Preschool website (https://sites.google.com/independence.k12.oh.us/prek) or picked up at the Independence Primary School office. These will be available the week of November 28th. The application deadline is Friday, January 26th, 2024. A screening for all incoming peers will take place on Friday, February 16th, 2024.
