Amy Montague’s fourth-grade students at Independence Primary School are bringing their science lessons to life. As part of their study on terrain and river paths, students explored how slopes and landforms affect the movement of water. Recently, they stepped outside into the school’s outdoor greenspace, where they experimented with visual replicas to see firsthand how rivers can shape the land. The hands-on activity gave students an engaging way to connect classroom learning with real-world examples.
