Vinny Carmean is a student at Independence High School enrolled in CVCC’s Programming & Software Development (PSD) program, instructed by Jami Little. After being introduced to Python coding in an eighth-grade computer class, Vinny discovered an interest in technology and knew IT was a field worth exploring. When touring CVCC and learning more about the PSD program, the fit was clear. The program offered an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, enjoy a new school environment, and get a head start on a future career. During the time at CVCC, Vinny hopes to earn as many industry certifications as possible while taking advantage of every opportunity to build new skills.
