The Independence Primary School Drama Club is proud to present their 2025-2026 musical production of Disney's Winnie the Pooh KIDS on Saturday, March 28 & Sunday, March 29. Come celebrate the amazing accomplishments of these 60 intrepid 3rd-4th grade performers, as we revisit these beloved characters from our youth!
Disney's Winnie the Pooh KIDS is a timeless story about friendship and adventure based on the beloved characters of A.A. Milne and the 2011 Disney animated feature film. Welcome to the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh (Scarlett Brenner/Ava Burns) is once again in search of honey. Along the way, he meets his pals Tigger (Joey Pasek, Maggie Lehmann), Piglet (Gaby Beastrom/Amelia Kennedy), Rabbit (Sammy Zelasko/Isabel McGurr), Owl (Luke Brenner/Ellie Hyser), and more, but soon discovers that Christopher Robin (Braxton Stettin/Otto Russell) has been captured by the mysterious Backson! As they prepare for a rescue operation, the animals learn about teamwork, friendship, and of course... sharing snacks. Featuring classic songs by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman from The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, plus new hits by Academy Award-winning songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez (Frozen), this honey-filled delight is as sweet as it is fun!
Directed and choreographed by Rebecca Justice, these two casts provide you with four opportunities to join them on a trip down memory lane! Tickets are on sale now for Sat. 3/28 shows at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., and Sun. 3/29 shows at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., at https://ips.ptboard.com.
