The Independence Middle School Drama Club is excited to invite the community to experience the magic of Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical Jr. this February.
Students have been working tirelessly to bring this beloved story to life, showcasing their talents in acting, singing, dancing, and stage production. The musical follows the story of Matilda, a brilliant and courageous young girl who uses her intelligence and imagination to overcome challenges and stand up for what is right.
Performances will take place on Thursday, February 13 at 7 p.m. and Friday, February 14 at 2:30 p.m. in the Independence Middle School auditorium.
The production is directed by Maggie George and produced by Independence Middle School PTO. Music and lyrics are by Tim Minchin, with a book by Dennis Kelly.
