November 7, 2025
Dear Families,
As we enter the time of year when snow begins to fall and we start watching the weather closely for potential school closures, we want to remind you that our district has a new alert system in place to notify families — SchoolMessenger.
To ensure the system is working properly, we will be conducting a test phone call, text, and email on Saturday, November 8, at 10 a.m. Messages will be sent to the phone numbers and email addresses for the legal guardians that we have on file for your child.
If you would like to receive messages as a text, we ask that you send a text message today of “Y” or “Yes” to our school’s short code number, 67587, from the cell phone number for the legal guardian we have on file for your child. You will also receive an opt-in text message after 2 pm, if you have not already opted out or opted in from any organization that uses SchoolMessenger or sent a text to the code above indicating your opt in. If in doubt, please send the text message today of “Y” or “Yes” to our school’s short code number, 67587.
If you do not receive the test messages, please confirm that your contact info is up to date in FinalForms and reach out to the main office for the building your child attends.
Please see the attached flyer for additional information.
Thank you for helping us keep communication strong as we head into the winter months.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Warmly,
Kelli Cogan
Superintendent
