On May 21, fourth graders from Independence Primary School took a field trip to the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center for an exciting day of hands-on learning during an Engineering Immersion Project.
Throughout the day, students explored key engineering skills, including blueprint reading, accurate measuring, and safe tool usage. Under the guidance of instructors, each student had the opportunity to construct a birdhouse—combining creativity with real-world problem solving.
The event provided a fun and educational introduction to engineering concepts, inspiring young minds to think like future builders and designers.
