On May 19, the Independence Board of Education celebrated the academic achievements of its students at the 38th Annual Academic Excellence Dinner held at the Independence Civic Center. The event recognized 25 seniors from the Independence High School Class of 2025 who received a 4.0 or higher for their outstanding academic performance. These students were the highest ranking students in the graduating class.
