Independence Local Schools

On March 19, Independence High School held its annual National Honor Society Induction Ceremony in the auditorium.

Current NHS officers include President Matthew Wisniewski, Vice President Jack Korinek, Secretary Alana Nowak, Treasurer Nathan Bernstein, and Historian Joseph Jirmasek.  Advisors are Brittany Lapaglia and Darlene Stefanski.  

The program opened with remarks from Principal Mike Janatovich and then the lighting of four candles to represent the four pillars of the National Honor Society–character, scholarship, leadership and service.
