Joseph Walchanowicz is a junior at Independence High School and is enrolled in CVCC’s Power Equipment Technology program instructed by Mr. Koenig. Joseph chose this program due to his interest in engines and was looking to learn more. He enjoys how hands on the program is, specifically in utilizing tools to tear down and rebuild engines. So far, most of the program’s curriculum has come very natural to Joseph. He appreciates CVCC for providing students with an environment to learn something they are genuinely interested in.
Academically, Joseph is a straight A student at CVCC and continues to excel. Outside of academics, he plays soccer and works for his dad’s landscaping and snowplowing business. In his free time, Joseph enjoys spending time with friends. In terms of his future plans, Joseph is still figuring that out, however the sky is the limit.
