Need a Summer Job?

ALL students age 15+ looking for summer employment are invited to attend our upcoming open interview event. Simply visit the IHS media center anytime on Friday, May 20th between 12-3pm.

"Open interviews" means that students can come in at any time and talk to several different companies to see if one of them might be a good fit. It is more casual than a formal interview.

Students do not need to have prior work experience to participate - this is the perfect opportunity for students looking for their very first job, or graduating Seniors who may be looking for a few months of work before leaving for college. Additionally, there are some employers who may be offering longer-term employment beyond the summer.

The local businesses that will be represented are:

City of Independence Community Services Dept.

City of Independence Service Dept.

Kurtz Bros.

Event Source

State Farm, Carolyn Kuczmarski

... and potentially others, depending on availability.

Students do not need to bring a resume (although if you have one, feel free to bring it) - simply fill out this quick registration form: Click Here to Register
