COMMUNITY
Independence is a small suburban community located 8 miles south of the city of Cleveland, Ohio. Three schools house a student enrollment of 1100 and serve a community of 7100 residents. Independence is a diverse community in terms of wealth and educational background; a number of the students will be first generation college enrollees, while others come from families where both parents hold advanced degrees.
