James Hogue has been the Principal of Independence High School since June of 2020. Prior to joining IHS, he was the Principal at Streetsboro High School since 2014. He taught English for ten years at Twinsburg High School, where he also coached football, wrestling and tennis. Mr. Hogue earned a B.A. in English Literature from John Carroll University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Kent State University. He earned his Administrative License through Ashland University.
Mr. Hogue lives in Walton Hills with his wife, Jennifer, a first grade teacher in the Solon City Schools. They have three children, Adam, Nolan & Grace.
