This week's #IPrideStar of the Week is Liz Twardzik, Math/Language Arts/Reading Intervention Specialist at Independence Middle School. Her nomination reads, "Liz is such a phenomenal addition to the IMS staff! She is kind, thoughtful, creative, innovative and hardworking. She spends countless hours preparing lessons and interventions to make sure all kids succeed. She has been an integral part of our 6th grade language arts team and she continually comes up with new ideas to challenge students. She has stepped up and taken on responsibilities beyond what asked. Her innovative ideas, integration of technology and intervention background have provided us with such guidance. I am truly grateful to work with such an amazing person and professional. Liz deserves so much credit for everything she does to help the teachers and students on the 5th and 6th grade teams.
Liz was nominated by her colleague, Michelle Koussa, IMS teacher.
