Hastings Water Works

Hastings Water Works is looking to hire students to lifeguard this summer at pools close to where they live. We staff pools all over Northeast Ohio and conduct all lifeguard training in-house with the American Red Cross for anyone not certified. All we require is that students who apply are strong swimmers.

Bank Of America Paid Internship

As a Student Leader, you will participate in an eight-week paid internship at a local nonprofit organization where you will learn first-hand about the needs of your community and the critical role nonprofits play. In addition, you will learn valuable civic, social and business leadership skills. Each Student Leader will attend the Student Leaders Summit held in Washington, D.C. where you will learn how government, business and the nonprofit sector work together to address critical community needs. Cleveland Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training

The Cleveland Telecommunications Installer-Technician Apprenticeship Program is a three-year program consisting of six periods with a minimum of 4800 hours on-the-job training and a minimum of 480 hours related classroom training. Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) Apprenticeship Program

A partnership between ApprenticeOhio and 10 community colleges, including Cuyahoga Community College, will make it easier for students to pursue well-paying careers in industries that need workers.
The Ohio College Apprenticeship Consortium will provide tuition reimbursement to participating students for completing pre-apprenticeship and registered apprenticeship programs in occupations identified by local businesses as needing workers. Click here for detailed information.

Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) Operations Program

The Right Skills Now CNC Operations program combines 180 hours of training at Tri-C’s metro campus with 320 hours of paid internship at a Swagelok Company facility. Students who successfully complete the internship will be offered a full time Level 2 CNC Operator position with a base rate of $14.75 per hour and full benefits. Swagelok Paid Internship

The Right Skills Now CNC Operations program at Cuyahoga Community College combines 180 hours of training at our metro campus with 320 hours of paid internship at a Swagelok Company facility.  Students who successfully complete the internship will be offered a full time Level 2 CNC Operator position with a base rate of $15.30 per hour and full benefits. The base rate for a Level 3 CNC Operator is $20 per hour. An operator can go from level 2 to level 3 in 1 year. The top level operator, level 5, earns over $30 per hour.
