Early Childhood Intervention Specialist - PreK-3


Independence Local Schools is seeking qualified candidates for an Early Childhood/Preschool Intervention

Specialist position. The assignment is a full-time position for an integrated preschool, serving students with disabilities and typical peers, ages 3-5.


Candidate must possess:

Strong collaboration skills to develop and maintain effective staff and community relations

Knowledge of Ohio's Special Education guidelines/policies and procedures Knowledge of Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards and assessments Experience with behavior management

Knowledge of Assistive Technology

Familiarity of sensory integration techniques

Ability to utilize data for educational programming

Strong organizational skills


Additional responsibilities include:
• Maintaining ODE compliance for Early Intervention and Special Education
• Step Up to Quality compliance

                                                                                             Certified Position Available

                                                                       Technology Integration Teacher – Middle School
                                                                                                 2019-2020 School Year

Directly responsible for student experiences and opportunities preparing them as digitally and technologically literate, creative, and flexible with an emphasis on integration and citizenship.  Heavy focus on student engagement, project-based learning, and collaboration with core content teachers.

We are seeking individuals who demonstrate:

• High character and a willingness to go above and beyond expectations.
• Passion for engaging and relevant computer science and technology instruction in grades 5-8.
• Collaborative spirit in working with core teachers as an integration coach.
• Experience with Google Suite, coding and programming, Video Production, Robotics, STEM/STEAM, 3D Printing, etc.
• Desire to refine and grow courses designed to give students vital technology 
skills for their futures, utilizing ISTE Standards.

Licensure Requirements:
• Valid Ohio Teaching License with Computer Science endorsement
• 4-9 or K-8 Licensure with significant Technology Integration experience
